In Iran, a Council to oversee the Internet

Iran's supreme leader ordered the establishment of the Agency for supervision over the Internet, which will consist of a high-level representative from military, law enforcement and political circles. According to Iranian State television on Wednesday 7 March, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said that the task of the Supreme Council of cyberspace will prevent harm to Iranians who are using the Internet.
