Physicists have discovered in the Mediterranean Sea giant deep water eddies

Italian physics first discovered at a depth of more than 3 kilometres in the eastern part of the Mediterranean currents very unusual configuration-a chain of underwater whirlpools for 10 kilometers in diameter each, said in an article published in the journal Nature Communications.
