Net profit rose to 1.6 times as MTS

Net profit of OJSC Mobile TeleSystems under US GAAP in the first quarter amounted to $ 512 million, 1.6 times more than the same period last year, the statement said. MTS consolidated revenues in the first quarter increased by 2.7 per cent from $2,93 billion to $ 3 billion.
